Karen Ponischil
Co-founder and partner

Karen Ponischil is co-founder and partner of Moonlight Creative Group and an expert in marketing communications, graphic design, and project management. She has an Associate in Applied Sciences degree with an emphasis in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and a Bachelor of Fine Art’s degree in graphic design from Winthrop University. Before starting Moonlight Creative Group, Karen was a graphic designer at First Union.

She is active in the National Association of Women Business Owners, the Charlotte Chamber and serves on the marketing committee for Community Link.

A graduate of the Charlotte Chamber’s Leadership School and Minority Business Leadership Institute, Karen has won numerous awards for her work and was a two-time finalist for the Charlotte Chamber’s Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Karen has been featured in local publications and has had articles published in The North Carolina Journal for Women and in the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce’s Ventures Charlotte magazine. In addition, Karen has been contacted by the media as an expert resource for graphic design and marketing communications-related topics. She also shares her knowledge and expertise by speaking to local professional and civic organizations.
