We joined a CSA this year. We separate our recycling and put out three bins a week. We compost. We've been contemplating a rain barrel.

Co-founder and partner
Dawn Newsome is co-founder and partner of Moonlight Creative Group and an expert in marketing communications, graphic design, and project management. Dawn graduated magna cum laude from James Madison University and earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from the McColl School of Business at Queens University. Prior to starting Moonlight Creative Group in 1996, Dawn worked as a graphic designer for First Union, then as a freelance designer and illustrator for a greeting card company, two advertising agencies and as a graphic producer for NBC News Channel.
Dawn serves on the board of directors for Women Executives and is also an active member of the Entrepreneurial Leadership Circle. In addition, she sits on the executive board of the McColl School Alumni Association and serves on the Alumni Ambassadorship and Student Recruitment Committee.
A graduate of the Charlotte Chamber’s Leadership School and Minority Business Leadership Institute, Dawn was honored in 2002 by the Charlotte Business Journal with a "Women in Business Achievement" Award and was named to the prestigious 2006 Charlotte Business Journal’s "40 Under 40" list of young leaders of accomplishment in recognition of her business achievements and commitment to the community. Dawn was recognized by 107.9 The Link (WLNK-FM) and Cambria Estate Winery as a "2006 Link Leading Lady"; selected as a "Business Impact Leader" by Charlotte Business Leader magazine; and was also named to the "50 Most Influential Women" list by The Mecklenburg Times in 2009.
In addition to being featured in The Charlotte Observer and in television and radio interviews in the Charlotte area, Dawn has also written marketing communications-oriented articles that have been published in the Charlotte Business Journal, The Mecklenburg Times and The North Carolina Journal for Women.
